DANBURY, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Northeast Hockey League has announced a revision to its previously announced end-of-season awards.Defenseman Mack Heisinger of Curry College has been voted as the 2015-16 ECAC Northeast Rookie of the Year.

Heisinger receives the award for Rookie of the Year after serving as both an offensive and defensive cornerstone for the Colonels in 2015-16. The first-year defenseman appeared in all 25 games for Curry this season, compiling a team-high 19 points on six goals and 13 assists overall. The 19 points, which included 14 points on five goals and nine assists in conference play, also stood as the most among all ECAC Northeast defensemen.
