MILTON, Mass. - Curry College junior, goaltender Derek Mohney (Amherst, N.Y./ Toronto Jr. Canadians, OJHL) has been named as ECAC Northeast Goaltender of the Week. Mohney went 2-0 on the week playing in 120 minutes in net for the Colonels.

He made 25 saves, earning a shutout against SUNY Canton on Thursday, Jan. 23. On Saturday, Jan. 25, Mohney made 21 saves allowing just one goal in a 4-1 victory over ECAC Northeast opponent Suffolk University.

The Colonels currently have an overall record of 6-9-2 and 2-4 in the ECAC Northeast.
