Men’s Basketball Ends Season With Loss to Hartford

MILTON, Mass. - Curry College was defeated 87-74 by Hartford in a Conference of New England men's basketball game Saturday afternoon at Dr. Eleanor Meyerhoff Katz Gymnasium.

Before the game, seniors Ryan Foley, Will O'Malley, and Dekel Cohen Sharon were honored during a Senior Day Ceremony for their contributions to the Curry College men's basketball team.

After trailing by seven in the first half, the Colonels came out on fire in the second. Curry knocked down their first four field goal attempts to take a 53-50 lead off a pair of back-to-back dunks by Jaiden Mann and Malik Gelinas, forcing a Hartford timeout with 14 minutes remaining in regulation only for Shawn Charles to throw down a third straight dunk on the Colonels next possession. Curry continued to pressure the Hawks, but a barrage of threes put the game out of reach for the home team.

Mann led all players with 34 total points while going 5-for-10 from behind the three-point line, grabbing six rebounds, and four steals on the defensive side of the ball. Jeremiah Predin added 13 points and seven rebounds while Gelinas and TJ LeCadre each had eight points.

With the loss, the Colonels conclude the 2025 regular season with an overall record of 2-23 and a conference record of 1-17.
