BRISTOL, R.I. - Curry College was defeated 91-68 by Roger Williams University in a Conference of New England men's basketball game Tuesday evening at the Roger Williams Campus Recreation Center.
With the loss, the Colonels fall to an overall record of 1-8 and a conference record of 0-3.
Jaiden Mann shot out to a hot start for the Colonels, knocking down four field goals including two threes to finish with 12 of Curry's 33 first-half points and leave the visitors trailing within striking distance, 41-33, heading into the locker room.
Mann continued to lead the team in the second half, shooting 8-12 from the field to finish the contest with a game and career-high 32 points. Unfortunately for the Colonels, a 50-point second half by Roger Williams ultimately put the game out of reach. Jeremiah Predin also had a standout performance, finishing with 14 points on 6-for-11 shooting while grabbing five boards.
Curry College takes a two-week break for the holidays before returning to action on Monday, December 30th, to squeeze in one final road matchup against New England College before the start of the New Year, beginning at 2 p.m.
