MILTON, Mass. - Curry College was defeated 112-62 by Endicott College in a Conference of New England men's basketball game Wednesday night at Dr. Eleanor Meyerhoff Katz Gymnasium.
With the loss, the Colonels' overall record is 1-6, and their conference record is 0-1.
The Colonels spread the ball around offensively in the first half with six different players scoring, led by Jaiden Mann who finished the half with a team-high seven points, over a third of Curry's scoring output. Derrick Thomas finished the period with six points, hitting the Colonels only three.
Favour Okeke led Curry with 13 points coming off the bench, shooting an efficient 3-for-4 from behind the three-point line. Thomas finished with 11, knocking down two threes while Francisco Lopez scored 10 off the bench and showed a high level of heart and effort despite the lopsided score. He also led the squad with six rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
Curry College looks to right the ship on Saturday, December 7th, in a road matchup against Suffolk beginning at 3 p.m.
