
The league offices announced on Monday afternoon that one Curry College men's basketball player earned a Conference of New England weekly award.
Junior forward Shawn Charles was named CNE Player of the Week for his standout performance in Monday's non-conference matchup against UMass Boston. Charles finished with a team-high 20 points on an efficient 10-for-12 from the field. He also earned a double-double with 10 rebounds while dishing out four assists, three blocks, and a steal.
Charles is on pace for career highs in almost all relevant stat categories, shooting 67.6 percent from the field for an average of 8.0 points in 24.8 minutes per game.
Charles and the Curry College men's basketball team return to action on Wednesday, December 4th, to take on Endicott College in the season's first Conference of New England matchup. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
