Men's Basketball Sunk by Anchormen

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Curry College men's basketball team concluded the fall semester with a 110-67 loss to Rhode Island College Monday evening at the Murray Center.

With the loss, Curry moves to 2-8 overall on the season.

Rhode Island College was lights out from the field in both halves, scoring 52 points before halftime and another 58 in the second half for their highest offensive output of the season. Keyshaun Jacobs had a career night for the hosts with 44 points on 12 3-pointers.

Curry had two players finish in double figures, led by sophomore JayQuan Leonard (Plymouth, Mass.) with 13. Junior Angelo Sardegna (Tampa, Fla.) finished just behind Leonard with 12.

The Colonels get back out on the court Tuesday, January 4th, as they host the University of New England to continue Commonwealth Coast Conference play. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
