QUINCY, Mass. - The Curry College Men's Basketball Team lost 88-85 in overtime to the University of Dallas on the first day of the Eastern Nazarene-Curry Thanksgiving Classic. The game was played on Friday afternoon in Quincy. The Colonels record now stands at 0-5 on the season.
Junior captain Paul Preziosi led Curry in scoring with 23 points, and in rebounding with nine boards. Three other Colonels scored in double figures, including senior Tim Flanagan (18), junior Trey Jones (14), and freshman Luke Schreiner (12).
Curry connected on 12 three-pointers, including four by Flanagan and three each from Jones and Schreiner.
Day 2 of the Thanksgiving Classic takes place on Saturday afternoon in Milton, with Eastern Nazarene College taking on the University of Dallas at 1 p.m. and Curry hosting Pine Manor College at 3 p.m.
