Milton, MA - The Curry Baseball team fell to Dean on Thursday by a final score of 9-6. The Colonels are now 8-23 on the season, while the Bulldogs end their season 13-27.
After Dean scored six runs in the second, the Colonels began to fight back, striking for three in the third. Shawn Boostrom II and Brady Callahan each had RBI singles in that inning. After the Bulldogs got one back in the fourth, the Colonels inched closer with two runs of their own, highlighted by a Ryan Murphy RBI single. The Colonels then got within one in the seventh on a fielder's choice. The Bulldogs would score two more in the ninth, putting the game out of reach.
In total, the Colonels used 24 players in the game, including nine pitchers.
