MILTON, Mass, - Curry College was defeated 4-1 by Lasell University in a non-conference collegiate baseball game Wednesday evening at Jack Valley Diamond.

With the loss, the Colonels fall to an overall record of 4-6 on the season.

After allowing a run in the top of the second inning, the Colonels tied the game up in the bottom of the fifth starting with a leadoff single by Devin Grove, who advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by Michael Desroches. Tommy Marshall singled through the right side of the infield to send Grove to third, eventually scoring on a wild pitch on the following at-bat.

Grove was the standout offensive player for the Colonels, going 2-for-3 on the game, accounting for two of Curry's five total hits and scoring the team's only run.
