BIDDEFORD, Maine - Conor Quinlan (Taunton, Mass.), a freshman pitcher on the Curry College baseball team, has been named Rookie of the Week by the Commonwealth Coast Conference.

Quinlan closed out Curry's 2022 season by twirling a gem on Saturday afternoon against Western New England. The freshman came out of the bullpen in the second inning to throw eight innings, allowing just one earned on seven hits with seven strikeouts to earn his second win of the season.

Quinlan is Curry baseball's second CCC weekly award winner this season, joining graduate student Phil Ledwith (Old Saybrook, Conn.), who was named Pitcher of the Week on March 21.
