SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Curry College junior catcher Matt Rodriguez (Quincy, Mass.) has been named as Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week for the period April 16-22.

Rodriguez enjoyed a solid week from the plate as he batted .600 (9-for-15), scored six runs and collected five RBI, including two home runs. In a double header sweep over CCC foe Salve Regina, Rodriguez went 4-for-7 from the plate, two of which were home runs, drove in five runs and crossed the plate three times. Rodriguez also slugged 1.067 and collected a .647 on-base percentage on the week.
