Message Sent to Curry College Campus Community on October 1, 2021:

Dear Members of the Curry College Community,

As we enter October, I am writing to share an update to our campus visitor policy.

Effective Monday, October 4, Curry College will be allowing visitors onto campus in both indoor and outdoor spaces. We are pleased to welcome our friends, families, fans, partners and guests back, with the following restrictions in place for the health and safety of all.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • ALL individuals ARE REQUIRED to be masked indoors in all campus buildings.
  • The number of individuals in any one large event space on campus is capped at 50% of capacity for that space.* Additional individuals will NOT be allowed to enter if an event is already at capacity. *Please note that this generally does not apply to classrooms/labs and that capacities may be impacted by room setup.
  • Outdoor tailgates or pre- or post-game gatherings WILL now be allowed at athletic events.
  • Visitors MUST enable the MassNotify app on their smartphones for COVID-19 exposure notification. Visitors MAY be asked to show this app before entering any indoor event.* *Members of the on-campus Curry community may be asked to show proof of cleared status in the CoVerified app before entering campus buildings.
  • Visitors ARE now allowed to enter residence halls. Please note that the no overnight visitors policy for outside guests is still in place.
  • Unvaccinated visitors ARE REQUIRED to wear masks outdoors as well as indoors, and to socially distance.

As with all matters COVID-related, this policy will be continuously reviewed and visitor restrictions may be reinstated based on public and campus health developments. We will be communicating all updates to campus policies promptly. We invite you to visit Curry.edu/ReturntoCampus at any time for all the latest information.

Thank you for your cooperation as we work to keep Curry safe for all, and we look forward to welcoming our families and friends back to campus!
