BRISTOL, R.I. - The Curry College women's tennis team suffered an 8-1 defeat to Roger Williams University in Commonwealth Coast Conference action at the RWU Tennis Courts.

With the defeat, Curry falls to 0-11 overall on the season and 0-5 in CCC play.

Curry's only win came at first singles, where senior Sasha Borkov (Newton, Mass.) rallied after losing the first set 6-1 to win set two 6-4 and the tiebreaker 10-4 to earn Curry's lone point of the afternoon.

The Colonels will close out their fall season on Friday with a CCC battle on the road against Nichols College. First serves in doubles play are slated for 3:30 p.m.
