Women's Tennis Defeated by Endicott

MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College women's tennis team was defeated 7-2 by Endicott College Monday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference at the Trent J. Scott '96 Tennis Courts.

With the defeat, Curry drops to 0-10 overall on the season and 0-4 in the CCC.

Curry won one of the afternoon's three doubles matches to open the contest. At first doubles, senior Sasha Borkov (Newton, Mass.) and junior Serena Wilson (Windsor, Conn.) teamed up to defeat Endicott's top duo by a margin of 8-6.

In singles play, the only Colonel to emerge victorious was Borkov, who claimed a convincing 6-1, 6-2 win at first singles.

Next up for the Colonels, they will return to action on Wednesday with a road trip to Roger Williams University. First serves in doubles play are slated for 4 p.m.
