Women's Tennis Knocked Off By Western New England

MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College women's tennis team fell by a final score of 7-2 Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference action at the Trent J. Scott '96 Tennis Courts.

With the loss, Curry falls to 2-10 overall on the season, and 0-6 in the CCC.

Curry got wins at both first singles and first doubles, with sophomore Alexandra Borkov (Newton, Mass.) sweeping her two matches. At first doubles, Borkov and freshman Serena Wilson (Windsor, Conn.) defeated their Golden Bear opponents 8-4. 

Borkov was perfect in singles play, not dropping a single game en route to a 6-0, 6-0 victory.

Curry will return to the courts on Wednesday for their CCC finale against Endicott. First serves from Scott Courts are set for 3:30 p.m.
