DUDLEY, Mass. - The Curry College women's tennis team continues to seek its first Commonwealth Coast Conference victory after falling 9-0 to Nichols College in league action Tuesday afternoon at the Robinson Tennis Courts.
With the defeat, Curry drops to 2-4 on the season and 0-3 in CCC play.
Curry's Alexandra Borkov (Newton, Mass.) put up a strong fight against Nichols' Antonia Carrero at the first singles position, but was unable to get over the hump in a 5-7, 4-6 defeat.
The loss was Borkov's first singles loss of the season after starting the year 5-0.
Curry will return to the court on Thursday for a home non-conference matchup with UMass Boston at 3:30 p.m.
