Women's Tennis Shut Out at Endicott

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Curry College women's tennis team fell to Endicott College by a 9-0 final in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest on Saturday afternoon at the South Campus Courts.

Endicott (6-0 overall, 4-0 CCC) dominated the contest, sweeping through the doubles competition before winning five of six singles matches in straight sets.

The most competitive match of the day came at the top singles spot, where freshman Alexandra Borkov (Newton, Mass.) took the opening set 6-4. Her counterpart, junior Justine Hoover (Wallingford, Conn.) captured set two 6-3 and then went on to take the match by way of a ten-point tiebreak, 10-4.

Curry (1-4 overall, 1-3 CCC) will next play at Gordon College on Thursday, April 29 at 4:00 p.m.
