Nguyen Named as Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach

MILTON, Mass. - Curry College Athletic Director Vinnie Eruzione has announced the appointment of Norman N. Nguyen of Norwood, Massachusetts as head men's and women's tennis coach.

Nguyen graduated from Brookline High School, where he played doubles on the boys' tennis team and captained the squad as a senior.  In 2011, Nguyen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Ithaca College, where he competed as a springboard diver and was co-president of the school's tennis club.

In 2013, he went on to earn a double Master's degree in International Sports Management from SUNY Cortland and the London Metropolitan University Business School. Nguyen wrote his Master's dissertation on the USTA and talent development, largely focusing on pathways and other major conditions and factors such as playing surfaces. 

He currently serves as the Head Tennis Professional at the Brook House Condominium Trust in Brookline, Mass., and as a Teaching Professional at the Weymouth Club in Weymouth, Mass.

Nguyen's other recent positions have included: Tennis Camps Director at Thayer Academy in Braintree, Mass. (Summer 2014); Boys Varsity Head Coach at Braintree (Mass.) High School (Spring 2014); Volunteer Assistant Tennis Coach at Wheaton College in Norton, Mass. (Fall 2013); and Tennis Coach/Mentor at Brae Burn Country Club in West Newton, Mass. (2010-2012).
