BEVERLY, Mass. - After a stellar performance in a convincing victory over Wentworth Institute of Technology, Nicole Michael (New Hope, Pa.) has been named Commonwealth Coast Conference women's lacrosse Rookie of the Week announced on Tuesday, April 16th, by the league offices.

The Colonels women's lacrosse team soundly defeated the Leopards by a score of 21-3 on Saturday, April 13th, with Michael leading Curry offensively with a career-high five goals and two assists for a total of seven points. These five goals make a total of seven on the year for the midfielder while she currently sits at four assists.

Michael and the women's lacrosse team return to action on Thursday, April 18th, with a road game against Endicott beginning at 4 p.m.
