Women’s Lacrosse Overpowered by Roger Williams

BRISTOL, R.I. - Curry College opened up Commonwealth Coast Conference play with a 24-6 loss against Roger Williams University in a women's lacrosse game at Bayside Field.

With the loss, the Colonels fall to an overall record of 4-6 and post a 0-1 record in conference play.

The Colonels scored twice in the opening period, with Natalie Keenan (Haverhill, Mass.) and Casey Conneely (Arlington, Mass.) picking up goals and Grayson Goolgasian (Johnston, R.I.) earning the assist. Ellie Hardman (Hanover, Mass.) scored an unassisted goal to start play in the second quarter, putting Curry at three goals heading into halftime.

Hardman assisted Keenan on another goal to open up play in the third quarter, while Goolgasian scored the last two Curry contests of the game in the third and fourth quarters.

Curry College returns to action on Tuesday, April 2nd, with a home contest against the University of New England beginning at 4 p.m.
