Goolgasian Earns CCC Weekly Awards for Women's Lacrosse

BEVERLY, Mass. - Hot off the heels of a deep playoff run for women's ice hockey, two-sport student-athlete Grayson Goolgasian (Johnston, R.I.) has been named Commonwealth Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week announced on Monday, March 11th, by the league offices.

The junior led the Colonels to a two-win week, totaling 11 groundballs and nine caused turnovers in a pair of wins over Rhode Island College and UMass Boston.

Goolgasian also scored six goals and had one assist in Curry's 17-2 thrashing of RIC while posting five goals and one assist to lead the Colonels to an 11-10 victory over UMass Boston.

Googasian and the Curry College women's lacrosse team look to continue their success into the upcoming week starting with a road matchup against Vermont State Castleton on Tuesday, March 12, beginning at 7 p.m.
