BOSTON, Mass. - The Curry College women's lacrosse team took down the Wentworth Institute of Technology by a final score of 20-4 Wednesday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference action at Sweeney Field.

With the victory, Curry wraps up its regular season with an overall record of 5-10 and 2-6 in the CCC.

Curry came out of the gate hot, outscoring the Leopards by a margin of 6-1. Sophomore Grayson Goolgasian (Johnston, R.I.) netted a first quarter hat trick, with junior Chloe Chevrier (West Suffield, Conn.) scoring twice and classmate Lexi LaPerle (Ledyard, Conn.) scoring once.

The Colonels scored six more in the second quarter to take a commanding 12-3 lead into the break. Goolgasian and sophomore Natalie Keenan (Haverhill, Mass.) each netted a pair of goals, while Chevrier and junior Ellie Hardman (Hanover, Mass.) each found the net once.

A pair of Chevrier markers in the third quarter led Curry to a 16-4 advantage heading to the fourth. Hardman and Keenan also scored in the third for the visitors.

Curry closed out the victory by blanking Wentworth 4-0 in the fourth quarter for the 20-4 win. Just like in the third quarter, Chevrier scored two goals and Hardman and Keenan scored one goal in the fourth.
