SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Freshman Andria Torres (Milford, Conn.) of the Curry College women's lacrosse team has been recognized as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. This marks the second time in the last three weeks Torres has collected the honor.

Torres contributed four points to Curry's 16-15 conference win over Western New England in the Colonels' regular-season finale on Tuesday, April 16. She registered a hat trick including one goal on a free position, while also adding an assist. Torres also collected one ground ball and caused one turnover.   

Torres and Curry (10-7 overall, 4-4 CCC) have qualified for the CCC Tournament and will await the announcement of the match-ups in the next couple days.
