SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Curry College sophomore attacker Haley Carey (New Milford, Conn.) has been named as Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for the period April 16-22.

Carey tallied 12 points off 11 goals and an assist last week. She opened the week drilling in four goals in a tough 15-10 loss to CCC foe Salve Regina, and went on to net another six against Western New England despite dropping a hard fought 14-13 contest. Carey also contributed a goal in a 13-8 losing effort to non-conference opponent New England College. In addition, Carey picked up nine ground balls and tallied six draw controls on the week.
