Women's Ice Hockey Falls to UNE

Biddeford, ME - The Curry Colonels fell to the University of New England on Saturday by a final score of 3-0. With the loss the Colonels fall to 9-10-2 on the season and 5-8-2 in CCC play. The Nor'Easters are now 8-10-3 and 7-4-3.

After a scoreless period, UNE got on the board midway through the second period. It would stay that way until late in the third when the Nor'Easters added two power play goals, one on an empty net.

Grayson Goolgasian and Danielle Reid each had three shots, while Hannah Berkowitz won 11 of her 13 faceoffs. In net, Soleil Archambeault kept the Colonels in it, stopping 35 of the 37 shots she faced.

Up Next - The colonels will play a rare late season non-conference game next Friday when they host Amherst at 7pm.
