Women's Ice Hockey Fall to Endicott

Beverly, MA - The Curry Women's Hockey team fell to the #12 Endicott Gulls on Saturday by a final score of 3-0. The loss drops the Colonels to 8-9-2 on the season and 4-7-2 in CCC play. The nationally ranked Gulls are now 14-4-2 and 11-2-0.

After a scoreless first period, the Gulls got on the board early in the second. That was the only goal in the second period, a period that saw the Colonels goalie Soleil Archambeault face 25 shots. That was the only goal until there were 90 seconds left in the game, at which point the Gulls scored two empty net goals as the Colonels tried to tie things up.

Archambeault made 44 saves on 45 shots, keeping Curry in the game all afternoon. Danielle Reid led the team with five shots, and went 11-16 on faceoffs.

Up Next - The Colonels will look to bounce back next Friday when they host Salve Regina at 7pm for Hockey Fights Cancer Night.
