Mike Pollio joined the Curry Basketball coaching staff in 2021. Prior to coaching at Curry College, Mike was the Head Coach at Wheelock College for three years, leading the team to the NECC semifinals.

Before coming to Boston from Kentucky, Mike was a graduate assistant for Division I Western Kentucky University, helping lead the team to a Sun Belt Conference championship and a trip to the NCAA Tournament. Mike served as an assistant at Georgetown College (KY), winning both regular-season and tournament championships with two trips to the NAIA National Tournament.

Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Georgetown College (KY) and a Master of Science degree in Recreation & Sports Administration from Western Kentucky University.

Mike currently lives in Weymouth with his wife and puppy and serves as the Director of Development for the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative in Roxbury.
