MILTON, Mass. - Curry College Women's Basketball fell to Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent Roger Williams University by a final score of 63-42 Saturday afternoon. 

With the loss, the Colonels fall to 6-11 overall this season and 2-8 in the CCC.

The visiting Hawks dominated in the first quarter, outscoring the Colonels 18-4 in the opening 10 minutes. 

The second quarter saw the Colonels fight back against the dominant Hawks side, Lauren Dunn (Hanson, Mass.) and Maria Orfanos (Lynn, Mass.) combine for nine points. Curry would kick their defense up a gear in the third quarter as they held the visitors to just five field goals while outpacing the Hawks 12-11 in the quarter. 

Despite nine points in the third quarter by Curry's Kathryn Dunn (Hanson, Mass.), the Colonels were unable to catch the Hawks' lead. Falling to Roger Williams by a final score of 60-41.

The Colonels were led by Kathryn Dunn who marked 15 points and six rebounds in the conference loss at home.

The Colonels return to the court Tuesday as they travel to face CCC opponent Nichols College at 5:30 PM.
