Women's Basketball Taken Down by Endicott

BEVERLY, Mass. - The Curry College women's basketball team fell by a final score of 84-40 Tuesday evening in Commonwealth Coast Conference action at MacDonald Gymnasium.

With the defeat, Curry sees its record fall to 3-17 and 0-13 in the CCC.

Endicott took control of the contest right from the outset, leading 25-13 after one quarter. Curry was led by freshman Samantha Ferrara (Brewster, N.Y.) in the period with four points.

The Gulls outscored Curry 17-10 in the second quarter to take a 42-23 edge into the break. Senior Lily Gray (Brooksville, Maine) had seven first half points to lead Curry.

The Curry offense struggled to get going in the third quarter, scoring just five points as Endicott went ahead 65-28 after three. The Gulls closed it out in the fourth by outscoring the Colonels 19-12.

Gray was the lone Colonel to finish the evening in double figures, notching 13 points in the defeat.

Next up for Curry, they will return to the North Shore to take on Gordon on Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m.
