Women's Basketball Claims Sixth Seed For CCC Tournament, Heads to Endicott Tuesday

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Curry College women's basketball team has clinched a spot in the 2020 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship Tournament as the No. 6 seed and will travel to third-seeded Endicott College on Tuesday, February, 25 at 7:00 p.m. The Colonels finished the regular season with a 6-19 overall record (4-12 CCC).

Western New England University captured the top and earned a first-round bye. The Golden Bears will host the winner of No. 5 seed Gordon College at No. 4 University of New England. That contest is slated for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The final quarterfinal contest pins No. 7 seed Salve Regina University at No. 2 Roger Williams on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.

The winners of the quarterfinals will advance to the semifinals on Thursday, February 27, followed by the finals on Saturday, February 29. The winner of the final will earn the league's automatic qualifier into the 2020 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship.
