MILTON, Mass. – The Curry College Softball Team has announced its captains for the 2016 season. Senior outfielder Amy Nolan (Norfolk, Mass./King Philip Reg. HS) and junior infielder Marissa Bruno (Milford, Conn./Joseph A. Foran HS) were chosen by their teammates and coaches to lead the 2016 Colonels during the upcoming season.

Nolan had a solid 2015 campaign roaming the Curry College outfield. She led a talented group of outfielders in putouts and assists while holding down the #2 spot in the Colonels' batting order this past season.

Bruno also had a good sophomore year for the Colonels. She became the everyday shortstop, and in 28 regular season games batted .329 and compiled a .911 fielding percentage. Bruno was named as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Year after her freshman campaign and was name a CCC First Team All-Star.
