She enters the CCC Tournament sporting a .402 batting average over 117 at bats to tie for fourth among league leaders. In addition, Gott knocked in 15 runs, drew six walks, and crossed the plate 17 times over the course of the regular season.  A career .387 hitter, Gott has made an appearance in all but six contests collecting 188 hits over 151 games since her freshman year. Cruver, a junior pitcher from North Haven, Conn., was a dominant force in the circle this year for the Seahawks as she registered a 21-14 overall record and a 14-4 CCC mark to go along with a 3.02 ERA. In addition to leading the league in wins, Cruver led the way in strikeouts (154), innings pitched (218) and complete games (27), while ranking second in shutouts (6) to become just the third pitcher in Seahawk history to receive conference accolades. Her dominance allowed the Seahawks to grab the top overall seed heading into the CCC Tournament with a regular season record of 22-14.

Glavin, a freshman catcher from Ipswich, Mass., stands out among CCC rookies as she ranked in the top nine among league leaders in several offensive categories. She topped the league in slugging percentage (.691), doubles (13) and total bases (67). Glavin also ranked second in home runs (5), tied for second in runs scored (28) and RBI (27), while tying for fourth in batting average (.402), placing fourth in on base percentage (.473) and ninth in hits (39). In her freshman campaign, she also made a mark within the Leopards’ single-season record book. The most notable season record she touched was doubles, as she surpassed the previous record of 11 set by Lizz Harvey in 2010. Glavin also tied for the most hits in program history, which was also set by Harvey in 2010.

Johnson, a senior from Standish, Maine, is honored as the CCC Scholar Athlete of the Year as she has distinguished herself with 3.76 grade point average as a biology major, with a concentration in pre-physical therapy and a minor in psychology. She plans to continue her studies after graduation and will be studying physical therapy at UNE next year in graduate school. Athletically, Johnson has proven to be speedy on the baths paths and has been successful in all stolen base attempts this year (7) to rank fifth among CCC leaders. In addition, she is a two-time member of the CCC All- Academic team (2010, 2011) and a member of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society.

In her fifth year as head coach, Scroope is being recognized as CCC Coach of the Year for the first time. She guided the Seahawks to an overall record of 22-14 to go along with a CCC mark of 14-4. Under Scroope’s direction, the squad clinched the top seed for the first time since 1999 as they notched a 7-3 victory in the nightcap of a doubleheader over reigning CCC champion Endicott in the regular-season finale. She has now led the program to five CCC championship tournaments and three 20-win seasons, including a school-record 25 wins in 2009, which the Seahawks are eager to surpass in the upcoming league tournament.
