Cross Country Races at Suffolk Invitational

BOSTON, Mass. - The Curry College men's and women's cross country teams competed Saturday afternoon at the Suffolk Invitational at Franklin Park.

On the women's side, Curry's top finisher was senior Tori Carleton (Whitman, Mass.), who completed the 6k in 29:38. Following Carleton was junior Grayson Cheek (Wellesley, Mass.), who crossed the line in 30:30. Rounding out the women's runners was sophomore Mackenzie Husson (Derry, N.H.), who completed the course in 31:22.

For the Curry men's team, the top finisher was sophomore Alexander Nason (Easton, Mass.), who ran a time of 32:22. Placing second on the Colonels was classmate Paul Alfonso (Northborough, Mass.) at 33:57. Freshman Kiwaane Gray (Dennis, Mass.) and sophomore Edward Evangelakos (Chestnut Hill, Mass.) rounded out the Curry finishers with times of 44:26 and 48:14 respectively.

Curry will be off until October 28, when the Colonels travel to Gordon College for the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships.
