WENHAM, Mass. - The Curry College men's and women's cross country teams competed Sunday afternoon in the Pop Crowell Invitational at Gordon College.

On the men's side, sophomore Alexander Nason (Easton, Mass.) was the leading runner on the afternoon, finishing the 8k course with a time of 33:39, crossing the line in 48th place. Next up for Curry was classmate Paul Alfonso (Northborough, Mass.), who ran a time of 36:35 for a 53rd place finish. Rounding out the Colonel finishers was junior Alex Jodoin (Woburn, Mass.), who crossed the finish line with a time of 41:02 to place 56th.

The top finisher for the Curry women was junior Grayson Cheek (Wellesley, Mass.), who placed 42nd overall with a time of 31:28. Senior Tori Carleton (Whitman, Mass.) placed 44th for the Colonels, running a time of 32 minutes even.

The Colonels will return to action for the Lt. Travis J. Fuller Invitational at Massachusetts Maritime Academy on Friday afternoon.
