Matt Gilmore signed on with Curry as a volunteer assistant coach for its men's soccer program in 2021.

Gilmore joined Curry with 10 years of coaching experience at the high school and club levels. He is currently the Director of Junior Development at Real Boston FC and holds his USSF C License. 

As a player, Gilmore played at the Division I level at Sacred Heart University and the Division II level at Southern Connecticut State University. In his final year at SCSU, he led the backline, starting all 16 games, and anchoring a defense that conceded only 12 goals all season.

Gilmore graduated from Southern Connecticut with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, and has a Master’s degree in secondary education from Quinnipiac University.
