Three Men's Soccer Student-Athletes Earn CCC All-Conference Recognition

BIDDEFORD, Maine - Three members of the Curry College men's soccer team were named to the Commonwealth Coast Conference All-Conference teams, as announced by the league on Tuesday morning.

Junior Lucas Drons (Bellingham, Mass.) was named to the First Team All-Conference, while seniors JD Santiago (La Plata, Md.) and Adam Pforr (Weymouth, Mass.) were named to the Second and Third Teams respectively.

Drons led the CCC in goals (13) and points (28) in his junior campaign. He netted the game-winning goal in six of Curry's nine victories on the season, and tallied four postseason goals in Curry's run to the CCC Semifinals.

Santiago led the CCC in assists this season with 10. He also scored three goals to finish third on the Colonels with 16 points. 

Pforr was Curry's second leading scorer in his final season, notching seven goals and four assists. He netted his final collegiate goal in the CCC Semifinals against Roger Williams on October 31.

Santiago and Pforr are both first-time All-Conference honorees. Drons earned Second Team All-Conference honors as a sophomore in 2022.
