Men's Soccer Stopped Short by Suffolk

EAST BOSTON, Mass. - The Curry College men's soccer team fell to Suffolk University by a final score of 5-1 in Commonwealth Coast Conference action Saturday afternoon at Sartori Stadium.

With the defeat, Curry falls to 6-5-3 overall on the season and 1-3-2 in the CCC.

Suffolk scored the first five goals of the contest, including four goals in the second half to put the contest out of reach. Freshman Angelo Santostefano (Middletown, Conn.) scored his first collegiate goal in the 89th minute to end the Suffolk clean sheet, coming off an assist from senior Conor McCann (Hanover, Mass.).

Between the pipes, sophomore Brendan Cunningham (Middletown, N.Y.) made four saves in the defeat.

Next up for the Colonels, they will wrap up a three-match road trip at Endicott College on Wednesday evening. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
