Men's Soccer Unable to Comeback Against Gordon

MILTON, Mass. - Curry College was defeated by Gordon College 2-1 Saturday night in a Commonwealth Coast Conference men's soccer match at Walter M. Katz Field.

After trailing for the majority of the match, the Colonels made a late game push when Ray Weinstein (Goshen, N.Y. ) scored his second goal of the season in the 90th minute of play to put Curry within one goal of the lead. He was assisted on the play by Lucas Drons (Bellingham, Mass.).

Freshman Nathaniel Sama (Tiverton, R.I.) played the entire game in net for the Colonels, finishing with five saves in the loss. Curry finished with 12 total shots, including five shots on goal.

Curry College (6-3-3, 1-1-2 CCC) returns to action with a road conference matchup against Hartford on Tuesday (10/10) beginning at 7 p.m.
