BIDDEFORD, Maine - Sophomore forward Lucas Drons (Bellingham, Mass.) was named Tuesday as the Commonwealth Coast Conference's first men's soccer Offensive Player of the Week of the 2022 season.

Drons started his 2022 season on fire for the Colonels, scoring three of his team's four opening week goals as Curry started the season with a record of 1-0-1. He scored twice in the season-opener against Anna Maria on Thursday, including on a penalty kick, before adding one more against Southern Maine on Sunday.

Drons and the Colonels will return to the pitch on Wednesday evening with a road trip to Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Kick-off from Buzzards Bay is slated for 7 p.m.
