Men’s Soccer Closes Out Season With Loss to Gordon College

WENHAM, Mass. - Curry College Men's Soccer fell to Commonwealth Coast Conference Gordon College on the road Tuesday evening by a final score of 3-1.

With the loss, Curry closes out its season with an overall record of 6-5-5 and 1-4-4 in the CCC.

The conference matchup at the Brigham Athletic Complex saw the hosting Fighting Scots net two strikes within the first 37 minutes of play. Gordon College sophomore Noah Martin found the back of the net on two occasions to push his side into the lead heading into the half.

Curry marked their first goal of the night in the 76th minute as Giovanni Martins (Brockton, Mass.) found the back of the net directly from a corner kick, closing in on the host's lead. The Fighting Scots' Noah Martin netted one final strike in the 82nd minute to seal the conference victory for Gordon College

The Colonels were paced by Giovanni Martins who marked the sole goal for the Colonels in the conference loss.

Curry's Kyle Tremblay (Methuen, Mass.) marked two saves on three shots faced in 38:55 as Justin Ritz (Carver, Mass.) tallied three saves on five shots faced in 51:05.
