Colonels Tie Seahawks on Senior Day

MILTON, Mass. - Curry College Men's Soccer continued Commonwealth Coast Conference action with a tie against the Salve Regina Seahawks at home Saturday afternoon.

With the tie, Curry moves forward with an overall record of 6-4-5 and 1-3-4 in the CCC.

At halftime in the afternoon conference matchup, Curry College Men's Soccer recognized their six seniors in a special senior day celebration. Kyle Tremblay (Methuen, Mass.), Ryan Brady (Weymouth, Mass.), Tim Levakis (Tiverton, R.I.), Declan Foley (Weymouth, Mass.), Richard Savage (Rye, N.Y.), and Jake Champagne (Weymouth, Mass.) were joined on the field by their friends and family for the ceremony.

The conference matchup on Walter M. Katz Field saw a scoreless opening half. Salve Regina marked nine shots in the first half compared to Curry's three. Curry's Kyle Tremblay faced two shots on net in the first half, saving both. 

The second half would not see a goal for either side despite 12 shots from the visitors and five from the Colonels, closing out the CCC matchup on a 0-0 draw.

The Colonels were paced by Adam Pforr (Weymouth, Mass.) who marked three shots in the conference tie.

Curry's Kyle Tremblay marked seven saves on seven shots faced in the Commonwealth Coast Conference tie at home.

The Colonels return to the field Tuesday as they travel to face conference opponent Gordon College at 4 PM.
