BIDDEFORD, Maine - Curry College men's soccer goalkeeper Kyle Tremblay (Methuen, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week. The announcement came from the league office on Monday afternoon.

Tremblay registered 10 saves in 110 minutes to help Curry earn a hard-fought tie in the CCC opener against preseason favorite Endicott. The Gulls were only able to defeat Tremblay on a fortunate deflection off a Colonel defender in the first half, as the junior finished the contest with a goals against average of 0.82 and save percentage of .909.

Tremblay and the Colonels will return to the pitch on Tuesday evening as Curry hosts Emmanuel College for a 7 p.m. kickoff at Walter M. Katz Field.
