Men's Lacrosse Picked 7th in TCCC Pre-Season Coaches' Poll

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Defending TCCC Champion Endicott College has been selected as the favorite to win the 2011 The Commonwealth Coast Conference men’s lacrosse championship, it was announced today by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league’s head men’s lacrosse coaches.
            
Endicott (12-6, 9-1) received six of the 11 first-place votes in the 2011 TCCC preseason poll. Western New England was selected by the coaches as the runner-up in the conference and received four first-place votes. Roger Williams was picked to finish third, while New England College and Gordon were picked to finish fourth and fifth, respectively. Nichols snagged the remaining first-place vote and was slotted ninth.

Teams received 11 points for every first-place vote received, 10 points for second place votes, nine points for third place votes, down to one point for a last-place vote.
