Men's Ice Hockey Earns At-Large Bid to NCAA Tournament; Hosts Bowdoin on Saturday

MILTON, Mass. - The #5 Curry College men's ice hockey team has earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Championship, and has drawn Bowdoin College in the First Round.

The game will be played at Curry's Canton Ice House on Saturday, March 11, with puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m.

Tickets will be sold at the door, and will be $6 for adults and $4 for seniors and students with college IDs. Only cash will be accepted at the door.

Bowdoin leads the all-time series between the Colonels and Polar Bears 3-1, with the teams last meeting on January 6, 2010.

The Colonels last made the NCAA Tournament in 2011. This is the fifth all-time NCAA Tournament appearance for the Curry men's ice hockey program.
