Zach White Signs Professional Contract in France

MILTON, Mass. – Senior Zach White (Milford, Conn.) '19 has signed a professional hockey contract with Hockey Club Cholet in France. This past season, White was second in the Nation in goals per game and led the Colonels in points with 23 goals and 17 assists while serving as the team captain. Following the season, White signed an amateur try out contract with the Fayetteville Marksmen of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL).

"I am happy for Zach that he has such an incredible opportunity to play hockey at the professional level while experiencing the culture of France," said Head Coach TJ Manastersky.

White joins two former Colonels who are playing professional hockey in Europe, Phil Kiss '18 who spent this past season with UTE Budapest in the Erste Liga and Tyler Vankleef '17 who split time between the Nottingham Panthers of the EIHL and the Bracknell Bees of the NIHL. In total, Zach's signing makes 17 student-athletes in the last 14 years that have signed professional contracts following their hockey careers at Curry College.
