Men's Basketball Drops Road Game to WNE

Springfield, MA - The Curry Colonels fell on the road against the Western New England Golden Bears on Saturday by a finals score of 94-59. With the loss the Colonels fall to 10-11 on the season and 4-9 in CCC play. Western New England is now 16-5 and 11-2.

The Colonels held an early 8-7 lead six minutes into the game, but it was short lived as the Golden Bears soon went on to start scoring in bunches. For every Curry basket, WNE would score two or three baskets. Western New England would hold a 46-26 lead at halftime, and eventually win 94-35.

The Leading scorer for the Colonels was Jason Romans with 12. The only other double-digit scorer for the team was Lowelle Torres. Shawn Charles led the team with six rebounds. Sixteen different Colonels played on Saturday, with 10 scoring points.
