Men’s and Women’s Basketball Release 23-24 Schedules

MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College men's and women's basketball teams released their 2023 competition schedules on Wednesday afternoon.

Both teams play a 25-game regular season schedule, including 13 home games at Dr. Eleanor Meyerhoff Katz Gymnasium.

The men's team opens up the season with three non-conference road games before returning home for the Autism Acceptance Classic and home opener against SUNY Canton on November 17th and Salve Regina the following day. The games will serve as a fundraiser for the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism. The Colonels will be accepting donations, selling t-shirts, and holding 50/50 raffles, with 100 percent of proceeds going to the Flutie Foundation.

On the women's side, the Colonels tipoff the season with a road match against Dean on the 8th of November before participating in the Elmira Tipoff Tournament in Elmira, N.Y. on the 11th and 12th.

Both teams open conference play on the 29th of November hosting Wentworth before playing a total of four games in December, including conference matchups against Nichols and Roger Williams. The men's team also takes on Fisher and New England College at home on the 7th and 30th, respectively, while the women face off against Wheaton and Framingham State on the 7th and 9th.

The January schedules are identical for both teams as the Colonels play 10 conference games, including home games against Suffolk on the 2nd, Western New England on the 6th, Hartford on the 13th, Nichols on the 20th, and Gordon on the 31st.

February sees both teams playing in conference games against Western New England on the 3rd, the University of New England on the 6th, Hartford on the 10th, Endicott on the 14th, and Suffolk on the 17th to close out the regular season.
