High School: Kaplan is a 2010 graduate of American Heritage High School and a 2011 graduate of The Sagemont School…Played basketball for three years at American Heritage for Coach Danny Herz…Basketball honors included: Member of the Great Florida Shoot-Out All-Academic Team and a participant in the Matt Ramker Adidas Showcase for the Top 80 unsigned juniors and seniors in Florida…Also played basketball at The Sagemont School for one year for Coach Adam Ross...Team won Florida State 2A Championship and was ranked in the Top 5 in the state…Extracurricular honors and activities included: Headmaster Honor Roll for four years, Most Outgoing Award, student ambassador and Dale Carnegie Leadership Program…Also taught English to numerous Croatian, Serbian, and Macedonian basketball players, and worked at All-American Basketball Camp.
