Jackson Named as TCCC Player of the Week For the Second Time in Three Weeks

MILTON, Mass. - For the second time in the last three weeks, Curry College sophomore guard Jarrell Jackson (Brockton, MA) was named as The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Player of the Week.

Last week, Jackson helped the Colonels lock-up the #3 seed in upcoming TCCC Tournament play by averaging 26 points, six assists, and 5.5 rebounds in a pair of victories. Jackson scored 20 points with seven assists and four rebounds in a 66-59 win over Roger Williams to start the week, then exploded for a career-high 32 points in a 86-77 win over Endicott and also chipped in seven rebounds and five assists. Jackson shot 61% (19-of-31) from the floor and 85% (11-of-13) from the line.

#3 Curry will host #6 University of New England in a TCCC Quarterfinal match-up on Tuesday, February 23 at 7:00 p.m.
